  1. OMG — this cracked me up. My friends and I love to mimic Tom Jones's singing — we're actually pretty good — especially on his "It's Not Unusual."

I forgot what a good dancer he was.

    Bwahaha.

  2. H.Gillham- Thanks for reading and commenting.

I'm going to tell you a secret. I'm not telling anyone else, just you. No one else read this.

For money, I used to sing a joke version of It's Not Unusual. We'd be playing some song, and if the audience wasn't digging it, the drummer would stop and say: "If you don't sing along, we'll have the bass player sing Tom Jones."

I used to stick a wig in the front of my shirt, and the drummer would announce that I was not only the bass player, but I was also the President of Chest Hair Club For Men. And then I'd sing the most histrionic and gadawful version of that song.

Don't tell the other readers that, because it would be embarrassing.

  3. Too late!

I saw this today in the middle of an awful Monday at work and it totally cured my nasty, crabby mood. I laughed for 10 minutes just thinking about it.

Damn but he can sing. . . and Frug! and Boogaloo!
