If you’re new around here, those are my kids. They’re not really kids anymore, of course. I think the drummer was twelve and the singer/guitarist was nineteen when they made that video.
The older one is out in the world making his way. He’s performing music again, as a solo act, although I’ve never seen him do it. He doesn’t need dad to carry the amplifiers anymore, or drive him to the jobs, I guess.
Our younger son makes electronic music. Vaporwave, mostly:
Time marches on. You can never put the toothpaste back in the tube. You can never put Humpty Dumpty back together again. The past is another county. Whatever. But I’m sure glad I didn’t forget to have kids in the first place.

Their music skills also march on. Last I heard, the heir had gotten an offer to be an announcer/DJ at a radio station. The station had interviewed him for some local color or whatever, and, based on that experience, concluded that he would do quite well on the other side of the microphone.
Hi Gringo- Man, you remember everything. The heir did indeed have an announcer job on the radio station the kids were interviewed on.
It was great entertainment to watch their efforts through your postings in the years gone by. Glad they are both doing well and progressing strongly – no surprise there – but miss ‘seeing’ them from time to time.
Hi Harry- Thanks for reading and commenting and supporting the kids’ efforts.
Has been so fun over the years viewing your posts about those lads growing up. Y’all done good!
Hiya Cletus- Thanks for reading and commenting and supporting this site.
Go Go Go is one of my all time favorite songs, period. Another favorite is Something For Nothing by The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band. I mention that not only to show the company they’re in, but also in hopes you’ll give it a listen if you haven’t already.
Hi John- The Big Damn Band is a stone groove. I’d never heard of them.
I’m glad you liked Go, Go, Go. The kids made a wonderful video to go with that one.
When it comes to music and the Cottage family, I am hoping for a reprise your hit song about crop-dusting. the exact title escapes me , but the tune was MTA.
Holy Cow, Russ, your memory is better than mine. That was a long time ago.
But it was very entertaining.
