You know, I might have stayed in the music business if I knew I could wear my pajamas to work. Maybe even practice a little, instead of just buying a bass and showing up and making money. C’est la vie!
Man, John Scofield and MonoNeon take it interstellar at about a minute and a half.

Here’s some more of that goofy looking bassist in the pajamas.
Sit down & fasten your seatbelt.

And after you’re done, check out the “Scary Pockets” YouTube channel. Real music in real time from current & vintage talent. Like this one featuring Lee Sklar backing up the cute & cuddly Sophia James.
TURN IT UP!!

Hi El Polacko- Thanks for reading and commenting. MonoNeon, the bass player, is as close to a sui generis as I’ve seen in a long time. He’s right-handed, but turns a right handed bass upside down and plays it like that. He’s like the love child of Bootsy Collins and Jaco Pastorius.
We heartily approve of the Scary Pockets project, including the one you offered with Gandalf on bass. Great stuff.
The Ghost Note Band is the house band on the Zildjian cymbal YouTube channel, backing up some of the most incredible drummers alive, like Dennis Chambers, Omar Hakim, Gergo Borlai, Larnell Lewis, Ash Soan and this guy, Stanton Moore.
Here he lays a groove so thick you could build a small city on it.
Smiles all around is always a good sign.
