Compare and contrast – the view out my window today was of dogwood blossoms just about ready to wrap it up, flowering cherry trees losing their petals, the Bradford pear weeks beyond flowering and fully leafed out, the grass is so tall it is going to be tough to mow.
Robins in the thousands have moved through the area on their way north. Herons are flying along the river, the steadfast crows are enjoying Spring, bluebirds were sizing up the bluebird box the other day, and all in all, other than an unseasonable cold snap, things are moving along nicely.
Very nice! Spring was coming along just fine here in central VA but it has been put back in the fridge for now.
Take advantage of another pause in the hurly burly before the inevitable warming/speeding up.
