Asstoot reader and commenter Andy has guessed the who in the Whose House. It’s my house. I bought it on Wednesday. His beautiful daughter already brushes her teeth using a Ten Finger Stepper, but he can bestow his prize on some other lucky person I’m sure. I’ve been the Johnny Appleseed of steppers for a while now; I’m the Paul Bunyan of Maine now as well. That’s me in the picture.

I knew it had to be you one of these times, and that is good news to be sure. I mean the house, of course. Congratulations!
I can find a good home for the stepper, as we know plenty of people with children, and also wimmen folk what wonder why anyone would have put a shelf all the way up there. Must have been made by a man.
Or perhaps I will smuggle it to the shed out back and carefully reverse engineer it to learn its secrets.
I grew up in the north country – we were loggers, then. Wasn't everybody, though?
Anyway, there was a statue of PB on the road north of town, but it also had Babe alongside. Great memory!
Enjoy the new house – congrats.
Congratulations on the house – maintain your patience and sense of humor on the move – I just did it a year ago. It's amazing what you find after 19 years in the same place. It's heartbreaking what you give/throw away after 19 years in the same place.
Gorgeous house. Congratulations!
Dang…….

Great house. Congrats.
Maine you say? Congratulations!
What's all that white stuff all over the place?
What exciting news! I hear the praises of Maine sung loudly and often by my best friend who has a small tear down house he dreams of restoring in Boothbay Harbor.
Wishing you and your family all the best in your coming endeavors.
Now we can look forward to the saga of getting the saw out of the basement.
Congratulations on the new house! I like the lines of it. Classy.
Congrats on the win, Andy – and congrats to Mr Sippican on the new home! Figures my first one of these to try is a conundrum in a mystery in a wooden puzzle box. Can't wait for the next installment…
Rumford?????
From Marion to Rumford?????
"His beautiful daughter already brushes her teeth using a Ten Finger Stepper…"
I have one on these beautiful pieces, and never in a million years would have thought I could brush my teeth with it. I'll try it tonight…
Congrats on the new house, BTW
This is going to sound ridiculous because we have never met in person, but Maine??? That's so FAR!!! How will I ever keep up with the Sullivans?
You have my best wishes for prosperity and health and a good life there. You are escaping MittCare and out-of-touch public schools. May you find what you're looking for and take along only those who you need.
