I’m not a big Van Halen-esque, guitar-shredding fan, but I love that song. (Did you know it’s on Guitar Hero III? My kids are teaching me to push buttons in the correct order so I can pretend to play guitar.) I’ve thought for a while it’s the prefect soundtrack for Obama! The Musical! It really sums him up nicely. I hear one woman touched the hem of his coat and was cured of political apathy.
Hi Pastor Jeff- My son has guitar hero, but not the latest version, so I didn’t know the song had been resurrected already.
It’s funny to see my son playing a game that substitutes data entry for playing an instrument. I still play music occasionally with friends and ex-bandmembers, and one of my younger guitar player friends can play every song on any guitar hero game, on a real guitar, and at double speed if so desired.
