  1. Here’s a nice, early live/acoustic version of the late lamented John Prine’s “Paradise” (music starts about 2:08 into the video):

    Written for his dad, it’s a story of warm love for family and place. I was surfing the ‘net maps the other day and happened across the “John Prine Memorial Park” near the dam in Rochester, KY. That’s a sweet thing for the town to do.
