Milk and sugar in weak tea. Stone is much easier to carve than wood – that whole absence of grain is a real plus. Reply
Stone workers I have spoken to all say that stone has grain. It might, but not like a recalcitrant piece of oak burl, just sayin'. Reply

There is no grain in stone? Marble? Is that true? I have no idea if that's true or not.
