  1. It's a trade-off on the block size. Too little: inefficient. Too big: back breaker!

  3. Maine — it's a lifestyle choice.
    My post: a report on my mother. I left out the part about how she braved the storm this morning to go out and get her hair done. A girl wants to look her best.

  4. I built one of these about fifteen years ago – a small one as we had a decent snow pack after a couple of storms but not enough to build a full size one.

    Tell you what – it wasn't all that hard and when it was finished it was fairly warm inside. If you had to, you could start a small fire and walk around in a sweat shirt and jeans.
