This tableau has every element of my life in it. That’s the only house I’ve ever owned, my own handiwork along with my friends. My wife gave me that chair for my birthday. It came from the second hand shop and needed a small repair, so I like it better than if it was brand new. I made that table for very pleasant customers. It has gone out into the world to be another ambassador for my furniture monomania. I made the cabinet in the background to hold my children’s SpongeBob collections and a screen to show them on. And there are eighteen roses in a vase; one for each year I’ve known my beloved.
There is nothing more you need to know about me. I’ll talk about you for the rest of my time on earth.

Is it your anniversary, Sippican? : )
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog.
Yes.
Congratulations!
What about the rug?
And congratulations on the anniversary! It gets better the longer you go (we’re up to number 37 this December.)
Hi teri and anwyn- thanks.
37 is a lot. We’re only halfway there and I can barely remember a time when I wasn’t married.
*sobchak* The rug really tied the room together, did it not? */sobchak*
