There was a time when “Good Lovin’ ” was like the national anthem of cover bands. They called it blue-eyed soul. Bunch of italian kids from Joisey listening to Otis Redding records and blasting it back out like a fire hose. They eschewed a bass player for Felix Cavaliere’s left hand and a sort of male cheerleader routine. They certainly are making enough noise to make up for it. The first rule of public performance is that you need to give people a compelling reason to look at you. I don’t see this as a problem here.
