Happy Birthday, America

It sure was fun while it lasted.

  1. That's a heck of a way to start my morning coffee. Pretty depressing, like most of our American days recently. Makes me want to go back to bed and wake up to fireworks. Hope you have something fun and exciting to do today besides this.

  2. I once saw a little man wearing red
Chuck Taylors, play Stars and Stripes Forever on a guitar, at a bar in Flagstaff, Arizona. I was enchanted. Unlike this. I hope you had an enchanting 4th.

  3. Here is an anology….The diversity and beauty of music allows those who appreciate it to do so, while those who do not can ignore it and listen to something else….sort of the way our Country used to be prior to our becoming a culture of whiny victims…demandng that whatever they do not like be banned from existance.
    God bless America.

  4. I had the pleasure of watching an accordion marching band in Wisconsin and when they played the Stars and Stripes there wasn't a dry eye in the gym, which was the only place big enough to have them.
Which brings me to the musical question: Why did MaryAnne shift sand all day and all night?

  5. "All right, I pressed the Record Button."

I think that's how George Martin produced the Beatles, too.
