I have listened to Thelonius Monk for years, but I think this might be the first time I ever saw him play. He seems to be in touch with something out… there… somewhere.
He was truly a great part of a great era in jazz. We won't see the likes of that again.
Always been a big fan of Monk (ya gotta love a guy whose middle name is "Sphere").
