But in the end what they've made is just a giant cartoon with no feeling or insight inside it. Just a five-finger exercise that has an "art world" shelf-life of less than five years.
In the end, forgettable with much to forget built into it.

Then today, I came across this image over at Lileks' place. Now I can't help wondering if it didn't strike someone's eye and linger in their subconscious, only to be reborn as a leaf-faced groom…
